Design of the Architecture of Communication Subsystem of Autonomous Soccer Robot and Implementation of Its Communication Layer

Autonomous robot soccer system consists of a multi-robot that need to cooperate in unknown, dynamic, and competitive environment. In the cooperation, the interactional behavior of robots is accomplished by their communication. Thus, it is a crucial issue how to realize the real time communications among multi-robots. In this paper, we based the architecture of a communication subsystem of autonomous soccer robot, and set up its hardware platform of bottom layer(the communication layer) with WLAN, and set up its communication protocol with CSMA/CA. It’s shown that the communication layer is effective, efficient robust.
